Mahogany Dime Awards April 18, 2009

The Sixth Annual Mahogany Dime Awards is scheduled for Saturday April 18, 2009 at 8:00 PM at the Carolina Theatre of Durham.

This year’s recipients include Dr. Kristal Moore of Durham, Dr. Marye Jeffries of Fayetteville, Nicole Balaam of Charlotte, Mozella McLaughlin of Durham, Denise Bennett of Raleigh and YahZarah of Durham. Hosted by Gayle Hurd and Comedian Terry Tuff. Entertainment by the Miles Sisters, the Durham Senior Diva Cheerleaders. A reception will follow the program. Tickets on sale at the Carolina Theatre Box office at 919-560-3030. Proceeds benefit the Mahogany Dime Foundation.
