When it comes to a Magik Markers live show you have to prepare yourself for an onslaught of distortion, noise, orgasms, and violence. But no matter how much your prepare, no matter the amount of armor, no matter the expectations, you'll be lying on the floor in the fetal position begging for more by the time the overture finishes its last squeal. In the tradition of free improvisation brought to the public eye by jazz greats like Albert Ayler, Arthur Doyle, and Sun-Ra, Magik Markers have managed to destroy what it means to be a band while embodying the very essence of immediate art.
