As one of the most prestigious dance companies in the world, Ballet Nacional de Cuba is renowned for taking classical Western ballets and invigorating them with the vivid passion at the heart of Cuba. On this first UK tour, the Company will perform two programmes accompanied by the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.

Magia de la Danza – This stunning mixed bill brings together extracts from seven of the Company’s most famous ballet classics including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and Swan Lake.

Featuring a full orchestra plus special guest appearances from Carlos Acosta on the Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

Giselle – Initially choreographed by Coralli and Perrot and revised by Petipa in 1884, Giselle is one of the world’s best loved ballets, following the story of a fragile peasant girl and her enduring love for her prince, even after her tragic death.
