Madrigals, Etc - Music Concert & Launch. Madrigals, Etc., a choral and instrumental music ensemble was formed in 1999 with the aim of performing music from this glorious period. Their first performance was in the same year and they have performed to rave reviews ever since. The repertoire is hardly performed in this country, and makes for a most unusual evening of different, yet beautiful music from the Western Classical repertoire of choral music. After 10 years of introducing rarely performed music of the Renaissance era, 'Madrigals, Etc' is proud to announce the launch of their first CD, 'The Renaissance Begins'. This album is historic in the fact that it is the first time ever in this country, that an album of Renaissance music has been recorded and released, and the launch.
