Veterans representing each branch of the service will talk about their first-hand experiences during WWII at a free public program and memorabilia exhibition that will be held at the Pendleton Community Library, 595 East Water Street, on Saturday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m.

Panelists will include Robert Rowe, Pendleton, Coast Guard; Ted Vinson, Anderson, Army; Jack Hanna, Pendleton, Navy; Stanley Fabian, Lapel, Marines;

Gus Bubenzer, Anderson, Air Force; and Don Ellwood, Pendleton, Merchant Marines. Marcus Jackman, General Manager, Indiana Public Radio will serve as the moderator. The Pendleton Community Library is privileged to offer a panel that will share what the war was like.

All WWII veterans living in Madison County will be presented an Indiana State Senate Certificate of Recognition by State Senator Tim Lanane, Anderson, following the panel discussion. The library has identified over thirty veterans. I you have not been contacted, please call the library.
