Playwright, director, producer and actor Tyler Perry brings another colorful story of Madea Simmons to life in his latest stage comedy, “Madea’s Big Happy Family,” coming to Nationwide Arena for one show only on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Theater audiences have been following the family adventures of the incomparable Madea beginning with “I Can Do Bad All by Myself” in 2000. “Madea’s Big Happy Family” marks Perry’s fourth stage incarnation as Madea, the outspoken, gun-toting grandmother.
