Made in Chicago - World Class Jazz: Rudresh Mahanthappa's Chicago Legacy Ensemble featuring Bunky Green August 6, 2009

Two formerly Chicagoan powerhouses of the alto saxophone, Bunky Green and Rudresh Mahanthappa, come together in a long awaited meeting of minds. Mahanthappa fuses his Indo-American roots with the Chicago tradition that Bunky Green helped to create.

Every Made in Chicago: World Class Jazz concert kicks off with aspiring musicians from Chicago-area high schools, as part of the Jazz Institute of Chicago’s Jazz Links Educational Program.
