May 14th & 15th Laughs Comedy Spot in Kirkland, WA welcomes comedian, actor, writer, director Michael McDonald. Michael is the longest running cast member from “MADtv”. He has performed several recurring characters, including Stuart Larkin, Bible Dude, and Mofaz the Depressed Tow Truck Driver. McDonald also performs impressions of celebrities and well-known figures, including Al Gore, Bob Barker, John Kerry, Dr. Phil, Bill O'Reilly, , Mel Gibson, Chris Hansen, Ozzy Osbourne, Adam Sandler, Howie Mandel, Dick Cheney, Clint Eastwood, Simon Cowell, Charlie Sheen, Tim Gunn, Criss Angel, Jeff Foxworthy, Saddam Hussein, and Larry David. After eight seasons of performing and writing sketches on "MADtv," Michael finally got the chance to direct again as he stepped behind the camera for a few Season 12 episodes. He has been seen on the hit shows “Desperate Housewives”, “Pushing Daises”, “Seventh Heaven”, “Reaper”, “Kath & Kim”, and “My Life on the D-List”. He worked steadily in television, landing guest spots on “Seinfeld”, “Ellen”, “Just Shoot Me”, and “News Radio”. Michael had a recurring role on "Scrubs" and was even granted the opportunity to direct a "Scrubs" episode in 2007 ("My Conventional Wisdom"). Among Michael's film credits are brief appearances in all three Austin Powers movies and a starring role in 2006's “Moonpie”, which also stars one of his former "MADtv" coworkers, Stephnie Weir. Michael even found time to do a little stage work: once again with Stephnie Weir, he starred in the Cape Playhouse production of A.R. Gurney's “The Dining Room”.

In 2007, McDonald left Mad TV to work both behind and in front of the camera on a variety of television shows. Recent acting credits include SCRUBS, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, PUSHING DAISIES, SEVENTH HEAVEN, REAPER, KATH & KIM, HANNAH MONTANA, and KATHY GRIFFIN: MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST. Recent directing credits include MAD TV, SCRUBS, SEVENTH HEAVEN, and COUGAR TOWN.

McDonald is currently splitting his time as a producer/director on ABC’s COUGAR TOWN, and touring the country as a stand up comedian. His first stand up comedy special was recently filmed in Orange County, California for Comedy Central.
