The members of Mad Bread were born in the pop music generation, but grew up to discover why traditional forms are still the most evocative. This Chicago-based roots-rock band blends the sounds of rock, blues, folk, bluegrass, and psychedelic music to create a truly unique sound. At a Mad Bread performance, you can expect to hear groundbreaking original songs, traditional folk songs reworked for the 21st century, and well-known songs from artists such as Pink Floyd, Wilco, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and others. Mad Bread is a true ensemble band. Every member is as important a part of the sound as any other. There are no "front men" in this band, no spotlight-grabbing, and no theatrics. Just four guys making great music together.
