Stagemedia Group presents Lisa Scola Prosek's Machiavelli’s Belfagor

A new opera teeming with romance, passion, and comedy. This Commedia dell’Arte production tells a story of financial and amorous self-destruction based on Machiavelli’s novella.

The evening includes a special guest performance of the aria Francesca’s Complaint from Inferno, an opera-in-progress inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy. Music by Peter Josheff. Libretto by Jaime Robles. Directed by Jacob Calouseque.

Sung by Eliza O’Malley with Karen Rozenak, piano.
