About the Urban Field Speakers Series:
After a hugely successful inaugural year, Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art is proud to present the second season of the Urban Field Speaker Series. Programmed by Janine Marchessault and Scott McLeod and presented in association with the Visible City Project and Archive of York University, the series continues to bring an array of international and local participants, including artists, architects, curators, designers and scholars, who offer their unique perspectives on the role of art in transforming the experience of the city. Last year's series featured sold-out talks by such internationally renowned speakers as Cuauhtémoc Medina, José Roca and Anthony Vidler. The upcoming roster includes Brazilian curator Nelson Brissac, Dutch curator Hedwig Fijen and senses scholar Constance Classen, among others.

Seating is limited and guaranteed to sell out, so be sure to arrive early to guarantee admission. Series passes are available in advance or at the door. Tickets to single events are available only at the door.
