The Burrell Observatory will host an open house program Friday January 16, 2009 at 7:30PM.
Dr. Barry Hillard will present a lecture on the winter sky’s most magnificent object. The great nebula in the constellation Orion is a stellar nursery where new stars and solar systems are being created.

The lecture will be held in Surrarrer Auditorium, Room 18, in the Life & Earth Science Building.

After the lecture the Burrell Observatory will be open, weather permitting.

This is a free lecture and no reservations are required. Surrarrer Auditorium is located in the Life & Earth Science building next to McKelvey Hall. Parking for LES is located on the east side of Front street north of Bagley at 320 Front St. For questions contact the observatory director at [email protected] or 440-826-2493
