According to Pitchfork:
"Touring in support of her album, Arular (not that it really needs any kind of support), Maya Arulpragasam (aka M.I.A.) will begin the tour's North American leg on September 19 and finish off on October 5 in San Francisco's Grand Ballroom. Before the tour starts, M.I.A. will also headline a free show at New York's Central Park summerstage on August 7 as well as perform at festivals in Japan and the UK."

The Central Park show was hot (literally hot, too)...great to hear Diplo as well!

M.I.A. opened for LCD Soundsystem in June at Avalon. The place was packed, fantastic show, very loud. Crowd wanted more songs from her, but she's like "Hey, I'm sorry, I've only got one album out, I don't have anything else".
