This 1979 concert film documents the two-day New-No-Now-Wave Festival produced by the Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis. A sort of T.A.M.I. SHOW of the new wave, M-80 captures the alternative scene just before MTV and hair gel entered the picture. The film features performances from The Monochrome Set, Tuxedomoon, the Suburbs, Dark Day, James Chance and the Contortions, the Fleshtones, Judy Nylon, Devo (performing under the name Dove) and others. The footage of this legendary show was lost for twenty-five years, but recently recovered and restored by Chris Strouth and music video director Rick Fuller. Don't miss these special screenings!

Also showing on Satruday, 2/4. More details from NWFF
