Loosely based on the ancient Greek comedy by Aristophanes and featuring actual present-day accounts of sex strikes, Theodora Skipitares spins a new twist on an old tale using several styles of puppetry, song, dance and live music by circus composer Sxip Shirey plus a chorus wearing distorted masks and body suits inspired by ancient Roman Circus comedians.
