LWSRA Fashion Show May 17, 2009

The first LWSRA Fashion Show will be Sunday, May 17th at Green Gardens Country Club. The unique clothing to be modeled is provided by Hanson's Villa Women's Boutique in Manhattan, and Janie and Jack Children's Apparel located in Orland Park.
Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m. This event is sponsored by the LWSR Foundation and the proceeds will go towards a future LWSRA facility.

Lincolnway Special Recreation Association (LWSRA) is a program of adaptive recreation for individuals with disabilities, offered through a special cooperative agreement that includes Frankfort, Manhattan, Mokena, New Lenox, and Peotone Park Districts. LWSRA programs are for individuals from preschool through adult who have recreation needs that are not met by regular park district programs. Participants of LWSRA programs and events not only have fun, but make friends, increase physical activity, enjoy new experiences, and refine social and life skills.
