Lurie Garden Lecture Series: Creating a Green Roof on Your Home October 22, 2009

Pat Armstrong with Prairie Sun Consultants, teams with the Lurie Garden staff to present how deep-rooted prairie plants grow on a house with a 30 degree peeked roof and only four inches of soil. Armstrong will discuss her success with a green roof on her suburban home.

All lectures take place at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St., Chicago 60602, 5th Floor Millennium Park Room and are free and open to the public.
