Lupin’s Friday Night Music in the Mountains December 5, 2008

Come join us in our mountain paradise this season for live music in our clubhouse restaurant.

Sip our signature wine with your meal on the restaurant balcony, or simply enjoy a burger and a beer as you listen to local musicians play into the night.

Afterwards, take a soak in one of our hot tubs in the moonlight. You might not want to leave, so check in to one of our cozy yurts or cabins.

December 5th Sahara Heat Middle eastern exotic Casbah dance club music featuring DJ's DreamStream, BioPhysic, and live music performers.

December 12th Full Moon Party featuring Lewd Noodle. Live band 8:00 PM 11:00 PM followed by DJs for this all night party in the moonlight. Lewd Noodle is a 4 member Bay Area band playing an eclectic mix from Oingo Boingo to the Grateful Dead. Check Lupin’s website for updates on the DJs that will follow the band.

December 19th Miena Yoo Miena immigrated to the United States from South Korea 16 years ago, and now she creates music that mixes Korean language phrases and imagery with English. In 2006, Miena released her 1st album At the River Again and her 2nd album A Little Stone On the Sidewalk in 2008 which touch on her childhood in Korea, her family members and natural themes like wildlife, trees and water. Her folk-driven sound carries influences from American songstresses Tracy Chapman and Lucinda Williams. http://www.myspace.com/mienayoo

January 23rd Quinn DeVeaux Playing blue beat dance and acoustic rhythm songs, Quinn DeVeaux’s music is a concentrated potion of soul, folk songs and backwater blues. It arrives from New Orleans, the sixties folk revival and 1950’s Chicago sound. http://www.myspace.com/quinndeveaux

January 30th The Passive Aggressives Few bands are more aptly named than The Passive Aggressives, striking at the unresolved conflict inspiring their sound, mixing aspects of Progressive Pop and Alternative Metal. Sweet-sounding melodies draw the listener in, a soft voice coos and then the hammer comes down delivering dynamics at their extreme.
