LUNAFEST November 30, 2010

LUNAFEST was established in 2000 by LUNA, the makers of the Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, to simultaneously promote women filmmakers, raise awareness for women’s issues, and support worthy women’s nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

LUNAFEST is being hosted by Team Luna Chix – DC Triathlon (http://teamlunachix.com/dc_triathlon), a team of women in the DC area with a two-fold mission: encouraging women to live healthfully, and supporting awareness of environmental factors that cause breast cancer through our partnership with the Breast Cancer Fund a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
In addition to the Film Festival, Team Luna Chix will be holding a silent auction.
