Lumpkin, Georgia 31815

We will learn about the forces of nature and the influence of people on the creation of Providence Canyon. From the soil composition to the plant community students will explore the make-up of the canyon ecosystem. They will observe the effects of wind and water on the canyon, learn about adaptations of plants that live there and see how invasive plants have effected the ecosystem. Wear clothes you can get wet in and shoes for the water. Be sure to pack a lunch and bring a friend!
