Dark Horse Theatre is pleased to present its debut production, Lullaby by Thelon Oeming. An intimate look at the dark side of gentrification in present-day Parkdale, Lullaby stars the powerhouse cast of David Ferry, Dusan Dukic and Amy Rutherford. Following the story of a young couple who rent out their basement apartment to an ex-convict from the area, Lullaby examines the class divisions and quiet conflicts of a neighbourhood in transition. NOW Magazine said of its workshop presentation: "Lullaby reveals Oeming's remarkable gifts for dialogue and characterization... Keep an eye out for Lullaby." Lullaby runs November 2-18 at Simone Interiors (1690 Queen Street West), a site-specific venue in the heart of Parkdale. For tickets, please call 416-460-9306. $15; Sunday 2pm matinee Pay-What-You-Can.
