Lulacruza, a South American Experimental Folk duo –from Colombia and Argentina- based in the SF bay area, comes to the Red Poppy Art House for a 6-month Artist-in-Residency.

Their music instinctively weaves vocals, South American folk instruments, found sound objects and field recordings through electronic manipulation.

After releasing their debut album Do Pretty! and touring the East Coast, Argentina and Mexico, they are bringing fellow travelers, noise & electronic musicians, folk singers, sound healers, visual artists, educators and community builders to foster the dream of listening to each other and co-creating with and through all of our relations. The different concerts, collaborations, screenings, talks, workshops, open laboratories and the on-going installation will all nurture the creative growth of their second album.
