The program is free and open to the public.

According to Ignacio M. Garcia of Brigham Young University, this is " . . . the best job on LULAC that I have seen. . . He brings together scattered information that has not been synthesized before and provides new information and a new approach to looking at the organization which has not been available before."

Books will be for sale after the talk and the author will be available to sign them. All proceeds from the book sale go to LULAC scholarships.

LULAC is the oldest and largest Latino civic organization in the U.S. It was started in 1929 and currently has more than 600 local councils with over 100,000 members across the U.S.

The LULAC Mission: To advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health, and civil rights of Hispanic Americans through community-based programs.
