They are playing Friday PM, October 7 ONLY and probably go on last, after 9 PM, but you should get there earlier to catch the craziest possibilities of the Tenderloin, in action. The next day, they're playing the DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL show at Shoreline Amphitheater with the Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse, the New Pornographers, the Killers, et al. The 'In the Streets' show is free of charge; the Shoreline show is decidedly not.
