Lucian Freud at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art September 28, 2007

Lucian Freud, grandson of Sigmund Freud, is considered the most important living figurative painter.

The exhibition is curated by the Freud specialist Catherine Lampert who is a good friend of the artist and the former director of the Whitechapel Art Gallery in London. The exhibition has been organized by the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) in collaboration with Louisiana og the Gemeentemuseum den Haag, to which it continues after Louisiana.
