Part of New York City's "anti-folk" scene, Lowry led by namesake singer/songwriter and guitarist Alex Lowry. Lowry also includes pianist Nicolas Webber, drummer Crash, bassist Shawn Setaro, vocalist Claire Bowman and cellist and vocalist Sarah Bowman. Their sound blends alt-country, psychedelica and rock.
