Staying true to the New Orleans street beat tradition, the Low Down Brass Band parades onto the Chicago music scene by merging elements of funk, jazz, reggae, calypso, R&B, and modern day hip-hop to ignite an instant party wherever they perform. The Low Down Brass, in maintaining with the Second Line tradition, use trumpets, trombones, saxophones, tuba, and percussion in an always changing line-up that makes for a fresh, unpredictable, rump-shakin' good time.
