Anderson, IndianaDecember 21, 2006 - Countryside Animal Rescue will kick-off its 2007 monthly series of spay/neuter clinics with a return visit of a Cats Only Spay/Neuter clinic on Tuesday, January 9, 2007. The low-cost clinic, The Neuter Scooter, offers spay and neutering services for cats and kittens during the one-day visit to Anderson.

The cost is $40 per cat when cats are registered and prepaid online. The fee includes a rabies vaccine and a Rhino/Calici/Panleuk/Chlamydia vaccination. The fee is $50 the day of the clinic. Other optional services such as, Leukemia/FIV testing are available at an additional expense.

Persons are urged to register early as the number of cats to be accommodated is limited and the available space usually fills quickly.

pre-surgery instructions and other details about the January 9th clinic. The next clinic scheduled in the series is set for Tuesday, February 6, 2007.

Based in Bloomington, IN, The Neuter Scooter is operated by licensed veterinarian Dr. Tess Peavy. Representatives from Countryside Animal Rescue will also be on hand at the clinic to discuss spay and neutering, pet education, foster home programs, and volunteer opportunities.
