A bold new musical that breaks the boundaries of traditional storytelling, LOVERS is not to be missed:

"It was raining outside during Chip's funeral. A small gathering. Family, colleagues. A priest gave the eulogy, even though Chip never met him. Then it was over. Coffin lowered, with earth on top.

And she went home. Jolie. Back to her sophisticated apartment on the Upper West Side forgetting her ex-fiance, and ignoring the last 8 years of their life together. It wasn't all bad, but making it seem that way was an easy escape. Then she found Chip's note and the package...and suddenly she was no longer alone...

From carefree impulses to increasing uncertainties, these former lovers' story is set against human rhythms, harmonies and ultimately, the discords of Manhattan dreams versus Brooklyn realities...where dreams went deferred and sacrifices were made...or not...with tragic results."

LOVERS stars Broadway's WILL TAYLOR (La Cage Aux Folles, A Chorus Line, The Producers, 42nd Street), COURTNEY HAMMOND (former television personality on Animal Planet and Nickolodean) and with book, lyrics, and music by up and coming 2010 O'Neill Playwriting Grant finalist CHRISTOPHER MASSIMINE. Produced by Ruben Brache (Broadyway's LITTLE WOMEN) and Massimine/Roytman/Present ations (The West Coast Critically Acclaimed THE MOST MEDIOCRE STORY NEVER TOLD!).

LOVERS will be presented at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street, New York, NY (212) 714-2442.
