Mississippi Mermaid finds shy island-dweller Jean-Paul Belmondo sending for a mail-order bride (Catherine Deneuve) with a mysterious past. We conclude with the Seattle premiere of Claude Chabrol's The Flower of Evil, an elegant, witty exploration of a Bordeaux family's ancestral?and current?dark secrets.
