Louise Welsh, award-winning author, playwright and radio feature writer will give a talk in Forres Library. Louise’s work has gained her ‘The John Creasy Memorial Dagger’, ‘The Saltire First Book Award’ and ‘The Spirit of Scotland Writing Award’ amongst others. A former graduate of University of Glasgow and second-hand bookshop proprietor, she began writing seriously and produced her first novel ‘The Cutting Room’ in 2002. Louise’s latest novel ‘Naming the Bones’ is set in Glasgow and Edinburgh universities and is receiving wide-spread acclaim.
