ANAMI VICE
Anami Vice, the Vancouver-born solo artist, had two constants throughout his youth: art provided by his father, a renowned painter, and education courtesy of his University professor mother. Young Vice dabbled in several visual mediums, but his love and affinity for music pre-destined he’d end up in the recording studio. in late 2009, Vice set out to make the tracks he knew he was capable of making. Self-produced, self-engineered and made to his particular standards. Full of infectious beats, catchy hooks and intelligent, but not unintelligible, lyrics. Call and Response is the debut offering from this new set of recordings. It’s the first in what will be a long string of singles, each released with it’s own branding and cover art.

JACKIE VALENTINE
Jackie Valentine’s sound can be defined as “strange, captivating, wholly original music from a young band with a strong feel for history.” “Building Walls and Burning Bridges”, the bands debut LP is due for release in Spring 2011. “Brand New Car”, their first single has been released to radio and was recently given significant praise in The Province. Comparisons to Michael Jackson, Maroon 5 and Motown have left some pretty big shoes for Jackie Valentine to fill. Members Kieran Mercer, Cameron Gray, Martin Leather and Graham Boots step into those shoes and dance in them with ease.

ONE BAD SON
If the greatest rock and roll stories involve some sort of underdog, One Bad Son is the Rocky Balboa of Canadian rock.
One Bad Son has defied the norm, finding success in a niche of rock and roll that is as fresh and intelligent as it is action-packed. After 5 years of making waves in their hometown of Saskatoon, SK, the band has now made the move to Vancouver to take their career to the next level.
