Lou Harrison: A World Of Music Benefit Screening March 6, 2012

Join Filmmaker Eva Soltes and special guests at a benefit screening of the feature documentary
LOU HARRISON: A WORLD OF MUSIC, Tuesday, March 6 at 7:00 PM at the Castro Theatre, located at 429 Castro Street in San Francisco. All proceeds benefit Harrison House Music & Arts, an artist residency/performance program located in the innovative straw bale house that Harrison completed in Joshua Tree, California one year before his death. Preceding the film will be a special musical prelude performed by composer/musician Terry Riley on the theatre’s mighty Wurlitzer organ, followed by Eva Soltes’ short video illuminating the history of artists and events at the Harrison House. Tickets are $25 for the film only and $125 for the 5:30 PM VIP reception, which also includes champagne and hors d'oeuvres, the chance to mingle with the filmmaker and special guests, as well as live musical entertainment.
