The brainchild of DJ Smallchange and MeanRed productions, Lose Your Shit is a loft party series for the music-obsessed. Housed in the heart of Brooklyn, the party was originally created to be a showcase of the underground's finest DJs and to feature a wide range of musical genres.Those who attend never know for sure if they'll hear Dubstep, Baltimore Club, Glitch-Hop, R&B classics, Funk 45s or Electro-Disco anthems, but they are always guaranteed to lose their shit.

This time around, we bring Cosmo Baker (The Rub), Jonathan Toubin (New York Nighttrain), House of House DJs and of course, our fabulous resident, DJ Smallchange.

HOUSE OF HOUSE
Saheer Umar (Superfamily) and Olivier 'Liv' Spencer (Still Going, DFA, Manthraxx) teamed up to create House of House -- a DJ outfit that churns out warm sexy house music coupled with funky foot-stomping beats. Their Rushing To Paradise track, with its pulsing bass and twinkling piano and old man singing "be alriiiight", makes us imagine the world as a Melvin Van Peebles movie.

COSMO BAKER
Crate-digger, spot-rocker, and supreme selector, Cosmo Baker has been killing dance floors for years. One-third of the famous Brooklyn DJ collective The Rub, Cosmo has fans all up, down and over. ?uestlove: "Cosmo Cosmo Cosmo. I remember when Cosmo got his first mixer and started dj'n back in 92. Little did I know that little runt would constantly keep me on my a game like no other cat I know. JONATHAN TOUBIN
New York Night Train DJ Jonathan Toubin is the king of rare and vintage 45s. These days, while most DJs bang out a set on CDJs or Serato, Jonathan insists that we celebrate the beauty of vinyl. Tirelessly chugging deep into morning after morning with classic hits, Toubin is the anti-club. He doesn't pander with twee-pop hits, but rather drags his listeners into an ocean of deep soul, garage, rockabilly, British Invasion, European freakbeat, New Orleans beat, glam, punk, girl groups, ye ye, boogaloo, and contemporary underground singles.

MY COUSIN ROY
My Cousin Roy is the madman behind cult label Wurst, purveyor of most excellent dancey goodies, and all around swell guy. His sets seamlessly tie together all manner of awesome jams, from classic disco and jackin' house to druggy no-wave and sleazy electrofunk, and lest we forget the man's own edits that garnered him support from heavyweights like 2ManyDJs and Carl Craig. And all those fun nights all over the city, the country, and Europe, too. Did we mention Roy likes to dance a lot when he plays? Yes, yes he does.

DJ SMALLCHANGE
Resident DJ $mall¢hange is famous for dropping the needle on his staggering 10,000-record collection and for bringing out the insanity and chaos of Rubulad / Burning Man community in NYC. With his crazy masonic hats, Borat speedos, and lycra suits, this man is as unpredictable as he is fabulous.
