Lose Your Shit loft pary (Michna Album Release) October 10, 2008

The brainchild of DJ Smallchange and MeanRed productions, Lose Your Shit is a loft party series for the music-obsessed. Housed in the heart of Clinton Hill, the party was originally created to be a showcase of the underground's finest DJs and to feature a wide range of musical genres.Those who attend never know for sure if they'll hear Dubstep, Baltimore Club, Glitch-Hop, R&B classics, Funk 45s or Electro-Disco anthems, but they are always guaranteed to lose their shit.

This time around, we gather to celebrate the album release of our favorite DJ, producer, and all-around-buddy Michna. As a youngster, Adrian Michna started DJing parties with cassettes and playing trombone on the NYC bar circuit. After carving a niche for himself under the moniker Egg Foo Young, he is now busy mixing tracks for Brazilian group Bonde Do Role, dropping singles for Adult Swim, and getting signed to super label, Ghostly International. His first album, Magic Monday, is a full-bodied musical amalgam of hip-hop, booty and electro.

So we are psyched to bring his grit and hits to our friend's loft on Oct 10th. He'll be joined at the decks by a motly crew of Turntable Lab ne'er-do-wells. Should be hilarious and sort-of legal.
