172 Classon Avenue
Brooklyn, New York

Winter survival tactics vary from species to species. Bears hibernate, insects produce a natural “anti-freeze”, and rich people charter cruise ships. Brooklynites, on the other hand dust off their turntables, drag out their sub woofers, and throw a loft party. We’re not going to say which tactic is more effective, but let’s put it this way: If Darwin was still around, he’d place his bets on Brooklyn, for sure.
The third edition of Lose Your Shit is bringing a fierce combination of DJs to our little Clinton Hill loft:
Rub N Tug
Thomas Bullock (A.R.E. Weapons, Otterman Empire, Map of Africa) and Eric Duncan (“Still Going”) are both the masterminds behind the famous nyc after-hours party, Rub N Tug. They bring a heavy arsenal of house, techno, disco, and 60’s rock.

Qool DJ Marv
VH1, HBO, and Fader Magazine all chase after his Marv’s legendary live sets, but tonight he gets back to Brooklyn basics with us – mixing his 90’s classics, with new school Hip Hop via Disco, a little early House, some 70’s soul, Jazz Funk and an assortment of British beats’n’pieces.

Sujinho
As one half the NYC/Sao Paulo collective, NOSSA, Sujinho is an international spot rocker. NOSSA’s epic mix cd, I Love Baile Funk, brought the beat of Brazilian favela to the heart of NYC, Suji’s genre defying remixes and hard-textured production style has kept the dance floor happy ever since.

Smallchange
$mall ¢hange is a musical addict. His massive vinyl collection (ranging from punk, bossa nova, to vintage, rock, dubstep, and hip hop) has rocked the waves of WFMU, Giant Step's Jukebox and East Village Radio. Expect the unexpected from his bottomless crates.
