Best known for the hit remake of Richie Valens' 'La Bamba,' the East Los Angeles band Los Lobos incorporates traditional Mexican music with a rock 'n' roll edge. The band's latest is called 'The Ride.' Ivan Neville is one of the busiest people in music today. Whether it's as a full time member of the Neville Brothers, fronting his own Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk or sitting in with countless other talented musicians, Ivan elevates each performance with his own brand of New Orleans funk. Over the years, he has been a pivotal member of Bonnie Raitt's band, Rufus, Keith Richards & the Xpensive Winos and the Spin Doctors. Dumpstaphunk is being heralded as the one of the best hypnotic rhythm sections to come out of New Orleans in many decades.
