Los Angeles Philharmonic: Thibaudet Plays Ravel July 26, 2012

Bernstein and Gershwin's highly charged and quintessentially American music pairs perfectly with Ravel's sensual Daphnis and Chloe suite and jazzy Piano Concerto played by the formidable Jean-Yves Thibaudet. In a rare treat for a classical Thursday, the musical fireworks coming from the stage will be followed by an actual pyrotechnic display.
