Fall in love with Chopin all over again. Ingrid Fliter, the young Argentine praised by The New York Times as a “rhapsodic Chopin player,” is the fifth winner of the prestigious Gilmore Artist Award and one of the world’s most astonishing concert pianists. Music director Jeffrey Kahane opens the program with another nod to the spirit of youth – a commission for our 40th anniversary from rising star Damian Montano.
