Third World Pages walks us through different times and themes, form pre-playboy erotic magazines published in Mexico, to recent images of situations that happen in the world on a daily basis. Colombian artist Lorenzo Masnah has culled images of national tragedies and global disasters from a range of international archives. He recycles, recreates and reinterprets these images utilizing drawing and collage. Another facet of his body of work is a project called "Bonita." Masnah collects Mexican erotic magazines dated from the early 1950s, and defaces these nostalgic beauties with contemporary graphic imagery to allow his work to transcend a specific era.

Living Between New York and Bogota for the past several years, Masnah’s unique brand of imagery has made its way not only into public spaces, alternative settings and galleries, but also into a series of hand-made books. In addition to his work being widely exhibited both nationally and internationally, Masnah took part in the creation of Memoria Canalla, the first museum exhibition in Bogota of graffiti and street art.
