Lorain County Historical Society March Membership Meeting and Titanic Program March 4, 2012

The Lorain County Historical Society (LCHS) March membership meeting will be held on March 4, 2012 at 3 p.m. at The Hickories Museum. There will be a brief business meeting followed by the program “1912 – The Year of the Titanic,” presented by LCHS Education Coordinators Jim Smith and Janet Bird. This presentation will begin with a PowerPoint program by Jim Smith on the worldwide events of 1912. Followed by a first-person narrative by Janet Bird who will portray Titanic passenger, Carrie Constance Chaffee as she organizes a meeting aboard the Titanic. Light refreshments will follow the program.
