London WEB SCALABILITY Meetup (webscale.ning.com) October 19, 2008

A talk about web scalability, networking with others, and a beer or three at the bar. We have our own upstairs space. No music, couches, a large screen for presentations, and a place to chill and chat with others.

If you have a website you intend to grow, you need to learn from others before you grow. Your 5 minutes of fame on DIGG could be your last 5 minutes as your website crumbles under the load.

We will have presentations, discussions, and scalability product reviews - by users of them. This will be a monthly event - and this is the first, so don't miss it. We will discuss the future at this event.

Please, only attend if you envisage having the need to scale your website, are of a technical nature, or manage technical people, or have already had to scale (either successfully or unsuccessfully), and need ongoing help and a support network.

This is a FREE event - but bring money for beers downstairs, a laptop for any presentations (we have free wifi), and be prepared to discuss scaling websites with others.

We have 20 places only, so please, if you are not coming, let someone else!!
