London UK Film Focus 2008: First Screening of JACK SAYS July 2, 2008

Aspect Film invites you to the first industry screening of JACK SAYS at NFT1 on July 2 at 2pm.

Over 40 films will screen at this year’s London UK Film Focus (LUFF) Monday 30 June – Thursday 3 July 2008, held at the BFI Southbank.

Jack Says is a gripping contemporary film noir thriller. Jack awakes with amnesia in London next to the bloodsoaked corpse of The Guv'nor, a much-feared underworld figure.

Jack has just enough time and sense to flee, and, finding the address of an old girlfriend, heads to Paris to lay low. Always just one step ahead of the pursuing British police, Jack rekindles old feelings for his ex, Erin, imagining the life he could have.

But trouble follows a guy like Jack, and he is soon drawn into a web of deceit by the mysterious cabaret singer Girl X, who wants his help in dealing with the attentions of Garvey, a woman not to be crossed. Soon Jack is forced to deal with the consequences of a series of tragic events, all the while struggling to remember who he is, and what he is capable of.

This features a very capable cast including Simon Phillips, Rita Ramnani, Auriele Amblard, Daniel Roberts with Rula Lenska, Mike Reid and Eric Cantona.
