The July meeting of LRUG. If you like Ruby and also like beer afterwards, this is the place for you. We start at 6:30 in the Skills Matter offices and then after the talks (see below) we head to The Slaughtered Lamb for some drinks and more ruby chat.

Come along.

The talks this month are:

Jonathan Leighton talking about his Carat: an interpreted ruby like language, written in ruby.
Phil Cowans talking about a rails plugin he's been working on called ActionEmbedding.

There are more details on these talks at: http://lrug.org/

NOTE: The event is free, but you need to register with our hosts Skills Matter: http://skillsmatter.com/event/ajax-ria/july-meeting

Will it start at 6 or at 7pm, as it says on the website?

It starts whenever the first reveller gets there. That's normally around 6, but sometimes it takes a while for the slackers to arrive.

I'll try to be there for 7pm, alone, so new friends better make themselves known early!
