==================================================
15/06/2011 - We are now at full capacity for this event. If you said Yes and can no longer make it please change your RSVP so that those who want to come can take your place. I will be closing RSVPs at 5pm on 18 June 2011.

============= Update 4 June 2011 =====================

Canary Wharf is private property. Their press office have very kindly issued me with a photography permit, but the permit is limited to 40 people. The permit is issued under the following conditions, please do not abuse the rules and spoil it for everyone else in the group:

- Photography is outdoors only (at ground level)
- You don't photograph anything that is sensitive, security-wise, such as the entrances to buildings or any of the security arrangements in place
- The images aren't used commercially - ie sold on, or exhibited etc etc
- You don't cause any disruption eg, to pedestrian flows or vehicles

By attending the event and taking photos as part of the group you agree to these conditions. If you would like to use photos taken at Canary Wharf for commercial purposes or for non-amateur purposes, please contact their press office ([email protected]) beforehand to apply for a separate permit.

The permit only covers us for the use of a camera and tripod each - e.g. if you are planning to use extra equipment that may cause a safety risk you will need to contact the press office for your own permit.

Our permit is for 10pm to midnight as we will be shooting the sun setting over Canary Wharf from the other side of the Thames.

We will inevitably be approached by security because we are such a big group. Please remember to be polite to them - we will have a permit that I can show them.

======================= UPDATE: 6 JUNE 2011 =============================

Please make sure you have a copy of the guide(see below) printed. It's in pdf format, best printed double side. When you are printing from adobe please make sure you select page scaling to none. When the print dialogue comes up. Adrian will have some spare copies on the night.

The guide contains all the information needed for the walk fitted on 1 double sided A4 sheet which can be folded into a neat pocket sized map. First fold the map length ways in half and then width ways in half and half again voila, a pocket sized guide.

I've had to limit the attendee list as the Canary Wharf permit only covers 40 people.

The permit is for 40 people. If your friend has not RSVP'd on here then I can't guarantee that they will be covered by the permit as other people have taken the time to RSVP on here so they will get priority.
