Visa 2012 Party – The Mall 24th August

Fancy an afternoon out in the Mall? It can’t have escaped your notice that at 2.30pm on the 24th August we become an Olympic City!

To celebrate the handover, London 2012 is arranging an outdoor party for 40,000 people sponsored by VISA in partnership with the BBC. The afternoon runs from 1-5pm with an exciting line up of artists and live links to Beijing . Artists appearing include:

* Will Young
* Mc Fly
* Il Divo
* Katherine Jenkins

And many others. The event will be live broadcast on the BBC.

We are hosting an accessible viewing area for disabled and deaf ticket holders that will include BSL interpreters and live audio description for the very first time at this type of event!!!

Tickets have just been released that I have managed to grab for disabled and deaf people and their mates who might not otherwise attend this type of event without these services. Please feel free to forward to your staff, members or supporters who you think might be interested.
