LolliPops: The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra March 3, 2012

Become acquainted with all of the instruments in the symphony with Benjamin Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. Each variation features a different instruments - what a fun way to learn about the symphony!

Sara Valentine, fusing the stylings of Mary Poppins and Julia Childs, whimsically portrays Britain’s own Symphonia Semi d’Quaver, the internationally renowned “Orchestralogist” and obsessive fan of composer Henry Purcell. Ms. Semi d’Quaver narrates this classic introduction to the orchestra with wit and a wink.

There will be a pre-concert festival at 10AM for ticketholders
