Loft Mentor Series: Sheila O'Connor With Amy Bethke & Emily Bright February 20, 2009

'Where No Gods Came' is author Sheila O'Connor's compelling story of Faina McCoy, a young girl caught in a perilous scheme of elaborate lies created for her own harrowing system of survival. Amy Bethke was born and raised in Minnesota and graduated from Augsburg College in 2005. Her work has appeared online at literarymama.com and in Augsburg's literary journal, 'Murphy Square.' Emily Bright received her M.F.A. in poetry from the University of Minnesota in May, 2008. 'The Loft Mentor Series in Poetry and Creative Prose' offers twelve emerging Minnesota writers the opportunity to work intensively with six nationally acclaimed writers of prose and poetry.
