Culture Clash's Herbert Siguenza Hosts This Offbeat Ol' Fashioned Kind of Loteria Fundraiser

Come on out to Galeria for this offbeat fundraiser as we pull out a card from one of Latin America's favorite pastimes: LOTERIA, the Mexican game of chance...el bingo with an edge!

Dress up inspired by one of the loteria characters or invent your own. Fun prizes will be given to the best outfits.

Admission Free! Games at $2, $5, $10, & $25, so don't let the recession hold you back. Come play a hand, give us a hand, and we'll give you a good time! This is one fundraiser you don't want to miss!

Herbert Siguenza, talented actor, comic, as well as founding member of Culture Clash, can be found not only on the stage but also backstage where he writes, produces, and teaches. In 2003, Herbert wrote and performed a tribute to Mario Moreno better known as Cantinflas where he explored the beginnings of the now revered Mexican comic and icon.

“As a member of the performance group Culture Clash, Herbert Siguenza has been bringing his uncanny humor and political satire to the stage since 1984.” Herbert Siguenza is a founding member of the most prominent Chicano/Latino performance troupe, Culture Clash, along with Richard Montoya and Ricardo Salinas. Culture Clash was founded in San Francisco’s Mission District in 1984 and since then they have performed a wide variety of works ranging from sketch comedy to full length plays.
