"London has always been such an important city for me to play in. I love the people and the energy. That's why I am thrilled to be coming back and giving my London fans my very best. It’s going to be great!" Benny Benassi

On Saturday 10th November Electric Brixton hosts the London premiere of Electric Cinema, an all night viewing of electrovision basslines and technicolor beats. Italy’s finest Benny Benassi directs affairs, enthralling you to the early hours alongside an incredible cast of world class performers; Zedd, Dirtyphonics (DJ set) and Gemini. Lights.. Sound.. Action!

Determined as ever to outdo himself, Benny Benassi has had an amazing 2012. The last few months has seen him headline Cream and Together at Amnesia Ibiza and Electric Daisy Festival, tour with Madonna and play a string of headline shows and festivals in Greece, Norway and Switzerland. And that is all before we get to his massive main stage set at London’s premiere electronic music festival South West Four. In this exclusive one-off performance at a venue he has never played before, Benny returns to the capital to enthral the city’s clubbers and show why he is held in such high regard.

Joining Benny will be one of the breakthrough acts of recent times; Zedd. Over the past year this highly talented, young DJ/producer has been busy developing his individual and distinctive sound, which has helped his popularity rise dramatically. This has resulted in him working alongside some of the most respected figures in the industry, including Black Eyed Peas, Fatboy Slim and Skrillex. Earlier this year Interscope Records signed the German producer, on which he released his debut single ‘Spectrum.’ Zedd’s trademark composition and performances earned him three dates this summer at Together, Amnesia Ibiza, joining some of the biggest line ups on the island this summer. Following monumental performances at Glowfest, Electric Zoo, and Creamfields, it’s time for Zedd to head back to the UK to serve his fans with a mind blowing set incorporating some of the most exciting electro and house out there.

Parisians Dirtyphonics (DJ set) have also been added to the bill at Electric Cinema. Formed by Playte, Capskod, Pho and Pitch-In, their cutting edge production and definitive performances have made them one of the most talented acts out there. Over the past twelve months their outstanding and energetic shows have been witnessed in countries such as USA, Canada, Belgium and Russia, to name a few. Electric Cinema will play host to one of their biggest UK performances of the year, giving them the necessary platform to display an extraordinary show, making this an unmissable event for their fans.

Proving himself as one of the most diverse producers on the scene, we are delighted to welcome Gemini to Electric Circus. Having released an array of productions covering many different genres, Gemini has also completed popular remixes for artists such as Llana Del Ray and Ed Sheeran in recent times. Earlier this year, he embarked on a hugely successful thirty three date US tour, played brilliant sets at Outlook and Wireless and has just completed his fifth EP. Furthermore, Gemini’s work is regularly featured on BBC Radio 1 with continued support from Annie Mac. This all leads to a set at Electric Brixton which will leave fans in awe of his talent as both musician and DJ.

Over in the intimate confines of room 2, Whipped take control of proceedings. Having hosted events at the likes of Egg, Pacha, The Camp and Proud, this will be the first time that Whipped have arrived at Electric, where they will showcase many of London’s finest house DJs. This includes resident DJ Ben Roberts, James O’Connell, Dean Clarke, Shaun Douglas, Lucas O’Sullivan, Robberto, DJ Cassa, Nick Yockney plus many very special guests.
